Go to winRunner-->Insert menu-->Datebase checkpoint--->Custom check
This is the path where we can find the rows count, column count and content

Hi...
 To get the column count in winrunner for the Excel Sheet...u have to write one script
ddt_get_row_count(table,RowCount);
table-Name of the Excel sheet
RowCount-Variable name to store the Column Count.

To get column count in winrunner we can useddt_get_parameters ( table, params_list, params_num ) command.where params_list is the list of columns in tableand params_num is the number of columns in the table.
