Can we create pds member by using ispf 3.2 potion?

Yes we can create PDS member by option 3.2, just by giving directory blocks
along with primary and seconday quantity. Pls try hands on it and incase you change default block size or record length, please remember to keep block size exact multiple of record lenght

Yes, We can create pds by using 3.2 option.
Just give directory block value not as zero, give some number depend on how many pds members you want to store, and give DATA SET NAME TYPE as PDS and press enter then it will create the pds.

Via option 3.2 only PDS DATASET can be created, WITH NO MEMBERS in it.

Any member must be created next, via 1000 various methods.

No, We cant create PDS member by using 3.2 option...

by using this option we create only PDS i.e directory blocks....

We use 3.4 option we create pds members in ISPF panel........

No,we cant create PDS member by using 3.2 option.

if you want to create member then you can write member name in front of PDS file.
ex: GTO8838.YOGI.JCL(MEMBER1)

The question is as trivial as (2 + 2)...
There are approx. 100,500 ways to create a member.
In ISPF you can use option 3.4 -> E(dit) library -> S membername

Type S (member name ) over the command line
ex: s cobolpgm

For manual creation, use the below command.
Enter into the PDS by typing E on the left side of the PDS name.
Then type S in the command line
example: S mem1
ex: s cobolpgm
