We use the following function to get the rowcount from datapool that is to get the row number of last row used.

Function getrowcount_excel(sSheetName as String)

    Dim vCount as Variant

    Set oWorkSheet          = oWorkbook.WorkSheets(sSheetName)
    vCount                  = oWorkSheet.UsedRange.Rows.Count   

    getrowcount_excel       = vCount 
End Function
