This is the best part of SAP. All the modules in SAP are linked with each other.
For example MM is linked with all other modules like FICO, PP, SD etc.
As in MM we takes the goods in the account
entries generate automatically an different G/l accounts getting update after completing the transaction.

I will explain with the example,

As SAP is a ERP package and consists of various modules like MM,SD,PP,FI etc. SD is linked  with MM concerned to material,avalibility check etc and SD linked with FI concerned with GL accounts etc. All these modules work closely with each other in data exchange with related to their fuction.Linking all these modules and performing a particular task is called in integration.

This term normally used in testing(Intergrated testing)

It means how a particular enhancement will co-ordinate or link in performing a new function.

MM-FI INTEGRATION:-

Main mm-fi integration screen is OBYC
   here we have to link the movement types with G/L accounts
