Check the Driver of Ethernet card,
Check the Patch Code,
Check the Connection from I/O Port to LAN Port of Laptop,
Check the TCP/IP Configuration,
Repair the TCP/IP,
Check the I/O port,
Check the Pairing Of Patch code,
Check the Connectivity From Switch to I/O Port,
In Extreme Case check the Router.
