Properties file is just?a simple text file which contains some data in key value pairs.
What i think, if you do not use properties file then you've to check those number of conditions to map things with each other.
and one more thing, It's vry easy to?update a properties file rather to update all the files? individually.
I hope this may solve?your doubt.
