Q. NO 1. Is it possible to make a payment without invoice ?

Yes we can able to pay the amount without receiving an invoice. But it should be a part payment (for eg: 50% of the invoice amount). Its like prepayment or Advance for Vendor for supplying goods. In this case we need to get proforma invoice from vendor.

Q. NO 2.Due in SAP?

We can't be paid without receiving the Invoice.

Q. No 3. Is it possible to make a payment without invoice or due in SAP?

One thing which I need to explain. We cannot make any entry in ORACLE or SAP without receiving the Invoice. Then how its getting due in the books.

Im new in this site. If my answer is wrong. Pl forgive me.

Yes of course we may pay even without any Invoice

Scenario 1 - Where supplier needs some advance money to provide services in future e.g. Organise the conference - in that case we ask supplier to provide Proforma/ Prepayment (estimation) then we can pay to supplier more than 50% ( it is depend on company's policy, sometime it is depend on countries local law)

Scenario 2 - We do make payment to Govt. e.g TAX, VAT, Employees Medical Benefits premium etc. In this Govt cannot produce the Invoice even though we are paying.

Scenario 3 - Insurance e.g. Car Insurance - here also Insurance company does not issue any Invoice, so we do payment,

In scenario 2,3 we usually get Payment Template where it mentions Supplier
name, amt to be paid, Cost Center, General Ledger Account number, Reason for the
payment, Appropriate approval...that's all in Oracle we do.
Same for employee advance payment.

Yes it is possible. First you have to check whether you have actually received the goods or not in your plant. Then you can make payment. But it is better to have the invoice prior to making payment to avoid any issue later.
