To view imported objects
Go to the Datastores tab in the object library.
Click the plus sign (+) next to the datastore name to view the object types in the datastore. For example, database datastores have functions, tables, and template tables.
Click the plus sign (+) next to an object type to view the objects of that type imported from the datastore.

First of all Click on the Datastore Tab and then you can get the metadata when you click there you can have sources and targets are available.

If you have data in Flat File or XML Format you have another Tab known as 'Format' Tab will be there and here you can find the various file formats and even  you can import the Files by right click and just by Giving the name of a file, Location etc .

Hi,

Right click on datastores (Where ur source tables are exist) and click on open. It'll list out all the metadata related to that datastore. Select the particular table which you want to import right click on that and select import. The imported tables will be available under Tables  option in datastore. If you know the table name exactly you can do it by right click on datastore and select "import by name" where you have to give the table name you want to import.
