There is no predefined method like Assest Testing.. As far as I know this feature of testing (assest) is used in Insurance or Securities domain.I will illustrate with a small example for assest testing....When you have finished your test plan and when you are ready to execute, due to the region or test bed complications you are unable to run some of the test cases... at this point of time you look at the closest assest which match to this requirment....In real senario's you will check the following kind of features using this assest method...features like liablities of the policy, endosement of the security...I hope this gives you some idea..
