Hi mujtaba

Your question is so vague, there is no easy answer to it and indicates a lack of appreciation of the subject matter...
It's like asking "please give me a step by step guide to fixing an Aeroplane'...it isn't that simple.

A SAP MM consultant works within the Materials Management module of the SAP System.
The configuration of this is significantly different depending on the business requirements of the customer (e.g storage and management in a chemical company is completeley different to that of say an engineering company).
The responsibilities, and therefore the work required would be based on the requirements of the customer and therefore not something you apply the same logic from one customer to another.

There is NO simple step by step guide to follow.
The basics of what transaction/tables to configure should be explained in :
a) SAP training course(s)
b) Related books on SAP products.
I have worked in a number of implementations and have seldom done the same thing in different environments.
Also, in the MM arena, there are a number of interlinked objects, such as requirements planning, warehousing (if applicable) , manufacturing and the costing/valuation of products. All of which you should at least have an appreciation of.
Where I have worked, the term 'consultant' required a knowledge of :
a) the technical configureation of the product, strengths ands weaknesses
b) the business functions in which it resides.
and the ability to match the 2 together...in order to configure the system to fit the needs of the business.
In short, I suggest you get some training, read a good book, perhaps the following:
