Multi star schema or galaxy schema is one of the type of star schema

There are 2 types of star schemas in datastage

1.Starschema: A single fact table sits in middele and surounded dimension tables radically connect with fact table like a star. in star schema dimension tables are denormalized format. here few joins are enough to connect with fact table.

2.Snowflake Starschema: it is also like starschema but dimension tables are normalized format. more joines required in snowflake to connect with fact table.
