A batch test is a script that contains call statements to other tests.A batch test is created by selecting the "Run in batch mode" from the run tab in the Tools-->General Options. 
A batch test runs as a regular test. 
The only difference being that all messages like pause,wait...etc are suppressed ina batch test so that the tset runs without interruption. 
 
Winrunner opens and excutes easc called test.
