I don't think so there is any special tool for the DB testing either you can use TOAD or PL/SQL developer.

I' m using MY-SQL database in my project as back end

TOAD is used for Oracle i guess .....

There are a lot of free toolsSome tools aresql tools, Tora for oraclePHPMyadmin for MYSQLQueryman for Teradata

PL/SQL editor and TOAD are used to write SQL statements/ stored procedures and to query databse.
