In informatica 8x,its possible to call java program but not in 7x

Both are two versions.But in Infromatica 8x its possible to integrate java program but Its not possible in Informatica 7x to integrate java programs.

Hi!
1) The first thing is 8x was not power centre it was power engine.
2) In 8i, custom transformation was also available, it was in both active and passive so they released in 8i
