Now to find distance between A and D.

BCD makes a right-angle triangle... therefore, 
DB=sqrt(64+25)  ....... (pythagoras theorem)

DB=9.43

Now AD=AB+DB=3+9.43

Hence, AD=12.43 (Answer)

which gives remainder as 3

r(3.4)=3
t(7.7)=7
r(5.8)=6

so, 3+3+7-6=7

Hence 7 is the ans
