Find the next number in the series 3, 4, 6, 9, 13,?

Next number will be 18.
This is fibonacci series X, X+1, X+2, X+3.....

3,4,6,9,13,......

steps:  diffrence between 1st and 2nd no   =   1

           diffrence between 1st and 2nd no   =   2

            diffrence between 1st and 2nd no   =  3  and so on....

          diffrence between 5th no and 4th no  = 5

           ie; X - 13  = 5

                X = 18

ans . is 18 look the increasing order 3,4,6,9,13...so 1st no subtracted from 2nd no..= 4-3=1like this 2nd from 3rd = 6-4=2 3rd from forth 9-6= 3 4t from 5th= 13-9=4 if we look on the series it increase like 1,2 ,3 ,4 ,so next is add 5 so 13 +5 =18 ans

ans 18 3+1= 4+2=6+3=9+4=13+5=18

Answer is 18

bcoz 3,4,6,9,13
here 3+1=4(2nd number)
        2nd number+2=6(2rd number)
         6+3=9
         9+4=13
In this way the answer is 13+5=18

the next number is 18

The answer is 18 but this is not a fibonacci sequence. In fibonacci sequence every number is the sum of previous two numbers.

The series is (X) , (X)+1, (X+1)+2, (X+1+2)+3, (X+1+2+2)+4, (X+1+2+3)+4. and so on. X=4, So Req term is 18.

The diffrence between the first two numbers is 1 and again other two numbers is increasing equally by one so at the at 5th position it would be 5
So 13+5=18 is the answer.

The answer is 18

ie 3+1=4
    4+2=6
    6+3=9
    9+4=13
so 13+5=18

This is not a fibonacci series.... it is 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34....
