Two women were selling marbles in the market-one at 3 for a paise and other at 2 for a paise.one day both of them were obliged to returnhome when each had 30 marbles unsold.they put together the 2 lots of marbles and hanling them over to a friend asked her to sell them at 5 for 2 paise. Now they were expecting to get 25 paise for the marbles as they would have got if sold separately. but much to their surprise they got only 24 paise for the entire lot.where did the 1 paise go? can u explain the mystery?

If we mixed the sets then finally it comes to (3*10)+(15*2)

Now their friend sold the sets the rate of 5 for 2 paise...

when he sold first ten sets he got exactly what they want...it means he got 20 paise for 50 morbles....

Now the problem will come... the first person stock are closed..because first one have 10 sets..

Now their friend sold remaining two sets(second person stock) with the rate of first person stock....so at the end he miss the 1 paise.
