Entrance - this does not equal preconditions rather it refers to analysis (both bsr and srs) being both reviewed and approved before any testing can take place.Exit - depends on a whole lot of factorseg 1) all critcical and high priority bugs are fixed2) a certain percentage ( agreed by the customer beforehand ) are fixed3) budget constraints4) deadlinesand the list can go on ad infitum. Whatever the case this is not the responsiblity of the tester, it is the responsiblity of the test leader/manager, project manager and the development manager.Let them deal with it.
