Change career from Oracle Database to Oracle Apps

I have just complete my MCA from Delhi and now I am working on D2K and Oracle 9i. I want to know about Oracle 11i and which module suit my Profile. Because I would like to have certification in Oracle. I also did my graduation in IT (BSc.IT). I want to know which oracle I do. Oracle 9i OR Oracle Apps. Please send me this.

As per my ex with ORA APPS 11I for more than 2 years, I advice you to go for the ORA APPS data base administrator rather than for functional or tech consultation

You may visit the website www.oracle.com , recerntly oracle has launched OCO in APPS DBA which u can try.

Hi,
Already you are working in Oracle and D2K , so better to choose Oracle Applications Technical. Because in Oracle Applications Technical all present versions are depends on D2K reports and Form with a back end Oracle only. In Oracle Applications there are different modules are there, like Financial, Sales and Distributions, CRM, Manufacturing and So on… Depends up on your Interest select Financial, distributions and Manufacturing. We have plenty Opportunities in any ERP. As a technical person there is no much difference, either which modules you are working.

All the Best .
Thanks & Regards,
Prasad.
