For UAT the tester as well as QA will be involveAlpha Testing is done with in the organisation in simple mean if we test one software and we have to release it but first we give this with in our organisation to test that softwareBeta Testing is the actual release of Original version generally this is done By the Outside User not the user from inside organisation the best example is Yahoo messenger V 7.0. The first of all yahoo give the beta version now they Release there original Version

Alpha testing is done by Testers and Oraganisation People.
User Acceptance is Done by Client.
Beta Testing is Done by Normal People( Client Give Application to some People Or Customers to test for any enhancements and find bugs)
