What is Functional Decomposition?

I don't know within what context you want to know what Functional Decomposition means. But usually it is understood as a technique to split (divide) a system into smaller parts - until all those smaller parts do fullfill your (individual) ending-criteria. (It allways reminds me on "split a complicated thing into several less complicated ones... until you have a lot of little (but not-complicated) things.")

Functional Decomposition comes under winrunner Frame work.

It means we are dividing same functionalities of test cases and we are generating script for that test cases and running and make it as bug free test cases and we are using as reusable one.
