elt size = 4
max-cols  =7  --> 9x7
x=8
y=5
==>
3000 + 4[7*(8-1)+(5-1)] =3212

Base address+byte required{N(i-1)+(j-1)}
Here Base addres is 3000.
          Byte required is 4.
          N=Number of columns in an array.
           i=row of the array element of the address to be found.
           j=column of the array element of the address to be found.
Solution;
         3000+4{7(7)+4}=3212.

then 53*4=212 then
Starting address 3000 address of x(8,5)=3000+212=3212

If X(1 2) =  3004 then how can X(1 7) = 3042 
I think X(1 7) = 3024
and if X(2 1) 3046 then how can X(2 7) = 3052
I think it should be X(2 7) = 3070
