hai,

i think u know how to import data with notepad?

    firstly open a excel sheet and fill the required information. then save the file as filename.csv and in save as type click on csv(comma delimited) in the save window. 

then do the remaining things as u did with notepad

here we have to wtite as

EX:- open"c:\excel1.csv" for input as #1

yes.. we can import the data from excel sheet into Rational Robot. In Rational Robot goto Tools-->Rational Test--->TestManager-->Manage-->Datapools-->Import Data...

After clicking that you just give the path where the excel sheet was stored.Before that you should save as that excel sheet into ( .csv) comma separated value file...

After importing the file it will automatically upload into Rational Robot.
