Incrimental Testing :

This is the systematical testing conducted to test the application according to the requirment. Incrimental testing is a part of system testing. The risk of the system failing as a whole is constantly being mitigated. This is because as each component or sub-system is added we can confirm, that no adverse effects are demonstrated.

Thread Testing: A variation of top-down testing where the progressive integration of components follows the implementation of subsets of the requirements, as opposed to the integration of components by successively lower levels

A integration testing strategy in which you test subsystems in isolation, and then continue testing as you integrate more and more subsystems
