for a sample take that A cross the limit 90seconds.onthat same 90sec b cross 90 yards(beat by 10 yards).so speed of A is 1.11yard/per second.B is 1 yard/per sec.then if u place 10 yards behind A in the race,he have the distance 110 yards,and B have 100yards.by their speed B cross in 100 secs.on that 100 secs A can cross 111.11yards.so he win.
