How do you separate counts for nulls and blank value records from flat file source?

In a Flat File source there r Null as well as Blank values .If u r doing the profiling for that source ,how do u gete counts for the Null and Blank separately instead of getting them as one countThanksManish

Use aggregate transformation with count to specify the null and blank.

Count with the condition of not equal to null to get the count of blank values and as well to get the count of null values chk with the Null.

For This first of all replace the null values by some default values and blank values by other default values then use Count(*) operator in select clause along with IN statement EG:-
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM table_name WHERE coulmn_name IN('default_1','default_2');
