How to prepare or method adopt to prepare a testing schedule for a module , which tells how much time it will take to complete the testing for a module?

Well, I feel you have just started with the project, there is no standard method for calculating time required for testing a module except based on past testing times and schedules.Also there are a variety of factors which will come into focus with this regard. For example if your deadline is pretty much safe to go in for detailed hard core testing ( That is if u got enough time to complete your testing, which anyways isnt provided in most companies!), Then you can fix the level and scope for testing using ur test strategy which in turn is prepared from the SRS and the Project Plan. This will enable you to judge how much time you can spend on testing and what type of testing you will do. For example when delivery time is just two days and product has been completed, then you go for a quick testing method like smoke testing and check whether all major details are present or not. But if enough time is provided then you can go on and on forever. So i hope you have the answer now my friend. It is wholly dependent on you to set a deadline for your testing as no testing is ever 'complete'.
