Conformance testing, sometimes also called compliance testing, is the process of verifying whether a product meets the standard product specifications it was designed to meet. In the process, conformance testing can identifies product bugs, and once those bugs are eliminated, conformance testing can verify that the fixes were successful and within the applicable standards. You can also use the conformance/compliance testing results to prove to your customers that your product can co-exist in their complex environment
