Can you add the Cascading promprts in Business Objects? (Based on Country prompt selection you need to provide the option to select Sate/Province in the next State prompt. That means dynamically refresh the data load in the state list values)

Cascading prompts are not possible in BO till version 6.5 atleast. Cascading has been introduced in XI.

if you select one prompt value based on that prompt value gives other lov (that lov value is have relate that 1st prompt value) you can select one or more from that value.

south (region) > tn,ap,kr,kl (state)

north (region) > nd,jk,hr,up (state)

if i select region south i can see only south region state. (this is casecading prompt)

it should create universe level.

double click state object >

edit properties > properties > edit

you can see the query pan, there pulldown that region object and use that prompt conditions and save that

now you click display button you can see how that prompts are working.

First We have to create Condition for one object in universe level like

         State

      Condition

               state = @prompt(...);
then

           That same object will be selected on report level like

        Query Pannel

               City

          Condition

                   state = @prompt(..)

           It Will work as Cascading Prompt.

Yes, possible through the version XI R2.

1) Create Dynamic Cadaing Parameters(DCP) LOV in Business View Manager XIR2.
2) Schedule the DCP LOV within Business View Manager XIR2.
3) Call DCP LOV within Crystal Reports XIR2.

I feel you are getting confused with Cascading LOVs and Cascading Prompts.
In Business Objects XI, we have Nested Prompts (which you might call cascading prompts). And this is since 6.x version and there is no change in that.

From XI, they have introduced Cascading LOVs concept.
