To validate date format it is better to use compiled module.For this first enter Invalid date in the specified field through Status bar and place the cursor in another field. Then it will show Alert message (Required ). Then again enter right date format into tht field. U can also Validate date by creating more functions in Compiled module. Hi,

it's not clear.

Is there any way that as IFS in shell script in Winrunner.separator will \ .

We can write a script in compiled module and call this from main whenevr required.

if( first filed month 1-12 day 1-31 year 00-99)

else

enter correctly.

please correct me if i' wrong.
