What has not worked well in your previous QA experience and what would you change?

Hi,

Regarding my Previous QA experience. I have worked in a Database design project.

Actually the product was developed by my team mate and it was given to me for testing and Enhancement. Testing is done based on the functionality, domain and all aspects.

But Iam bit confused on the Product developed by her. I didnt get any Knoweldge transfer or any document from her. Becoz of this I faced so many issues and probelms.

She didnt even follow the normalisation rules in that Product. So,from the stretch I developed the Product again which exceeds the time constraint given to me..

Based on this the Quality of the product is also poor due to time constraints...
As I utilised most of my time in developing the product.

While working for a client, we had lots of manual test cases and it was really a test of patience while executing all those test cases manually. We suggested the client that we can start automating the test cases, but the client was not in favor of automation
