b'coz it's very challenging. 
as a tester i measure the quality of the product.  
we are destuctors in the short term but in the long term it very constructive work. i like it very much. 
OPEN the bug is not important, how to make them FIXED is very important. it's very challenging for me and i like it.

Testing is one aspect which is very important in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). I llike to be part of the team which is responsible for the quality of the application being delivered. Also, QA has broad oppurtunities and large scope for learning various technologies. And ofcourse it has lot more oppurtunities than the Development.

I am very proud be as a tester because a tester needs to know each and every activities in the SDLC, and his role in more important/ responsible when the the quality aspects are concerned.If a developer makes a mistake that can be resolved by a tester but if tester makes a mistake, & if the customer find the bug, then it will cost high for the company to solve.
