What is the meaning of "final" keyword?

Final is something like declaring a constant. when a variable is declared final it is constant, when a method is declared final you cannot overide is,when a class is declared final you cannot extend it.

Final keyword is used for define constant variables and method and no body can change that variable and method within program.

final keyword is a java keyword ,it is used for class ,method and variable if it is used for classes--- that classes are not subclassed means we can't extend that classif it is used for methods---that methods arenot overridable means we can't override that type of methods in subclassesif it used for varialbe-----it is constant throught out the programand final is used for constant variable in java similar to const keword in c++and another difference is therefinal classes arenot inherited but we are voilating the oops concept .
