There are 5 recordset type available in DAO 
Table-Type Recordset 
Dynaset-Type Recordset 
Snapshot-Type Recordset 
Dynamic-Type Recordset 
Forward only type Recordset

DAO offers five types of Recordset objects: table?type, dynaset?type, snapshot?type, forward?only?type, and dynamic?type. Table?type Recordset objects are supported only in Microsoft Jet workspaces. Dynamic?type Recordset objects are available only in ODBCDirect workspaces.
