After writing test cases, Seniors or TL will review those test cases and comments if there are any mistakes and after conformation that they are correct they will approve those test cases so that we can go further to do testing on application.

By conducting the Peer review the testcase will be verified that it as a valid one.

When we find a defect we use the defect tab of the test director to report the bug to the developers. Do we need the defect description from the test director for any other purpose, other than reporting it to the developers.

While we report the defect, we give the information like defect description, steps to reproduce, etc.this information will be helpfull for developer/PL to reproduce the defect, and after fixing the defect we testers again execute the same steps to reproduce to make sure defect is fixedNo more use
