Pre SQL query  means that the integration service runs SQL commands against the source database before it reads the data from source. Post SQL query means IS runs SQL commands against target database after it writes to the target.

Actually your question is not clear. Do u want to change column name or values in the column?to change a values it is quite simple.select replace('replace_underscores_with_spaces','_',' ') from dual;

You can use REPLACE function in order to replace a digit or character in a column.SELECT REPLACE(col1, '_', ' ') FROM table_1.This function can also be used to update column's records.Try this function. Hope it would work.

Hi,I think trigger is not called.The code in the trigger defines the action the database needs to perform whenever some database manipulation (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE) takes place.I think maximum number of data strings that can be returned through DBMS_OUTPUT is 255 bytes.
