Both RARP and IARP belong to Datalink layer protocols.RARP is used to get the IP address of specific host with the known MAC address.Inverse Arp(IARP) is used to get the IP address of remote host with the known DLCI number rather than MAC address, while configuring Frame relays.

Trasmission through ethernet cable would be more secure as it would be difficult for intruders to access the user resources. Wireless medium is the unsafe of all as it could be easily hacked without a good encryption like WPA personel or WPA 2 personel.

Out of Wire, fiber and wireless. On a very high level, it could be said that fiber is the most secure as it is the hardest to tap. Cable is a little more secure, as physical access is not hard to tap and sniff the passing traffic.

APIPA is auto assign to the PC if there is not connection to DHCP Server. If both PCs is configured using DHCP, there will not be IP conflicts and both IP will be assigned in the range of IP that is configured in DHCP Server and both IPs will be in same subnet.

For a pirticular system, we need to get the MAC Address. Then we will asign the MAC address to Specfic IP address in DHCP server. From this way we will provide the pemanent ip using DHCP Server.

We can create multiple Vlans even in layer 2 switch environment eg we make 4 Vlans in a 24 ports switch it will give us 8 port per Vlan .This will give us 4 broadcast domains.So less broadcast traffic is used.Secondly why use HUB? use switches as a 24 port switch is 24 collision domain.Thanks
