Its 7, because even though its only assignment, the control enters the if block, though its assignment its not a false stmt, so once control enters the if block i=7, so return value is 7 and not 6. :)

Read Only Memory is a secondary type non-volatile memory. Write operations cannot be performed since, it is read only. Once if it is programmed you cannot do changes in it.Also there are some ROM in which we can make changes.Type of Rom:- PROM,EPROM,EEPROM.
