Frame window houses the View window besides toolbar, menubar and status bar. Its a parent window to the view. View is a visual representation of the document ( data ) . Document is where you can store/retrive the data using Serialize function.

Document / view means to separate the logic and the data is easy for coding, all data are declared inside the document.h file and implementation is done inside the document.cpp file, the display properties are mentioned inside the view.
