What happen when AC supply is given to DC voltmeter and DC supply given to AC voltmeter?

When an AC supply is given to a DC voltmeter the DC voltmeter cannot respond to the change in magnitude(bcoz the mag. of AC voltage varies). so, it will give a constant value of 0.

Let the three bulbs be a,b,c and their corresponding switches be A,B,C
First on the switch A, next on the switch B.Now off switch A

When U come to the light room, bulb b will be glowing and bulb a will be hot. And the remaining bulb is c for switch C.
