I have a table having column col1, col2. If for a col1 there is some data in col2.

EX: Col1=0012 and Col2 = 12,13,14

then i need these three values 12, 13,14 separately not as a single string as it is in table. Or you can say in need to separate these three values after it is returned by query.There may be only one value or more than 3 as well.

EX: 12,13,14,15.........

NO. We can use mapping parameters or variables in any transformation of the same maping or mapplet in which U have created maping parameters or variables.

No. It cannot be used in different mappings as when it is saved in the repository, it is saved for a particular mapping. And at global level we have mapping parameters only and not variables which cannot be changed.

The scope of a mapping variable is the mapping in which it is defined. A variable Var1 defined in mapping Map1 can only be used in Map1. You cannot use it in another mapping say Map2.

Create a Dummy Port in both tables and assign same value e.g. 1 to both ports in expression transformation before joiner.
Now in join condition use this dummy port to join both tables.

U can use
ps -ef | grep USERID
where USERID is the Id with which the process is running.
It will give you output with two Id and detail of process name
kill PID
or
Kill -9 PID (if kill does not work )

ps_ef --> To know the processes running in backend.
kill -9 --> to kill a process forcefully.
