What I am trying to determine is if I could invoke a SAS session from within Informatica's ETL product(s) in order to execute a complicated transformation written in SAS which would then return the results to Informatica. Aggregate cache contains data values while aggregate calculations are being performed. Aggregate cache is made up of index cache and data cache. Index cache contains group values and data cache consists of row values.

Hi Bharati,for the answer to your question, take 2 targetswith same instances T1 and T2.Lets say in T1 new records are populated.the records in T2 are checked for updation and populated accordingly.Then we can set the target load plan for updation to happen before insertion.

we do. we have to update or insert a row in the target depending upon the data from the sources. so inorder to split the rows either to update or insert into the target table we use the lookup transformation in reference to target table and compared with source table.

if u use order by clause in the lookup it improves the performance. because system generated order by consists all the lookup ports in the orderby clause. instood use ur own order by clause. so that the input data can be sorted by the way u likeex. order by deptno--
