Using Data synchronization.

We have to merge the dimension from both the data providers in the report to generate the report using the two different data providers.

Option 2 :
Make DBLINK between Database A & B and access both the database tables by pointing application to one of the database.

Well, If you are using BO4 then you would need to make to Relational Conn.(RC) point out to required Databases and than you will able to make it Datafoundation (DF) based on two source databases.

Hi,No, If you user have only view and refresh access then he can view and refresh the reports but if you user have create/edit reports (full client) then he can see the reports source also. But in XI R2 we can restrict thes objects also...Regards,Sreenivas.
