The conduit probably has moisture or humidity. Or the temperature of wires inside the conduit has increased. The insulation resistance depends on factors of humidity and temperature.

It can be run but in practical there is necessary to change it. So if change in load in other gen. Will result change in current and load angle (angle between Sand v) and also change in active power, for which it will be need to arrange frequency regulating equipment, so overall cost will increase.
