dude...its Flaring, not flairing....
1) While refining crude oil we get non condensable gases like C1 and C2 which are not economical if condensed using extensive pressurising and cooling processes in Refineries. So we divert these gases to Flare.
2) In the process of refining we sometimes get our equipment over pressurised, this over pressure is released through safety valves to the Flare.
3) We also get some toxic gases like H2S in the process of refining, we divert these to Flare.
4) During shutdown and startup of the process plants, to stabilise the plant we also divert some non condensables, over pressure to the Flare.

After the process of distillation of crude we get many undesirable product which are hazardous in nature , if we expose without combustion ,it creates pollution due to this we do combustion of all undesirable product inflar .

I dont think you can generalise this problem - at least not for flat plane and cylindrical co-ordinates. It really depends on how much bigger k2 is relative to k1 and how big the pipe thickness is relative to the diameter.

delta T = (Freezing point of pure solvent) - (Freezing point of solution) = kf * m
m= molal conc of solution (moles of solute/ kg of solvent)

If all component are from the same group and operating pressure for distillation is atmospheric then vapor-liquid equilibrium can be assumed as ideal vapor-liquid equilibrium. using Raoults law obtain VLE data.

In regard to pressure the mathematical pressure function for the variable viscosity and compressibility of gas is Pseudo-pressure or real gas potential. Its the changes that occur in gas properties with pressure.

It is maintained by flow rate of natural gas or any fuel that is used for furnace... and this high temp is measured by thermocouple and from thermocouple we change the rate..

1g/cm.s = 0.002 lbf.s/ft^2
so, 1g/m.s = 100g/cm.s
so, 20g/ms=2000g/cm.s
now,
2000*0.002= 4lbf.s/ft^2
to convert into lbf.hr/ft^2,. 1 sec =0.00027 hr. so multiply by 0.00027
so, 4*0.00027=0.00108 lbf.hr/ft^2.
